13-Year-Old Stabs His Sister to Punish His Mother
Thirteen-year-old Paris Bennett raped, then killed his four-year-old sister, Ella Bennett. Paris was not excited by the idea of having another sibling. He was rather angry and upset by the news. The motive for the murder was Paris’s resentment towards his mother, Charity Bennett.
Whenever there was any sort of talk discussing the new baby on the way, Paris would get up and leave the room in a huff. But whether he liked it or not, baby Ella arrived on April 12, 2002. And much to Charity’s surprise, Paris’ attitude changed towards his sister almost instantly.
He was no longer angry and upset. He was actually happy and seemed to really love his baby sister. That is until Paris was about age 12.
The family started to move around a lot. Bouncing from house to house disrupted the flow of their lives. They eventually settled in with Charity’s mother, Kyla.
Kyla Claar Bennett was charged with conspiring to murder her husband and Charity’s father, James Robert Bennett Jr. She was controversially found not guilty, and Charity believes her mother was actually guilty. Kyla later joked in a documentary about manipulating the jury.
